Saras is aware that good results can only be so described if achieved efficiently, i.e. with a good ratio of resources used to results achieved. Saras therefore uses the most advanced techniques to reduce the environmental impact of its refining activity and the generation of energy from renewable sources.

Moreover, in view of the continually rising global demand for energy and the associated increased risks to the environment, Saras is making strong efforts to raise awareness, starting with those who will be the consumers of tomorrow. Progetto Scuola (School Project) aims to promote a culture of informed usage and energy savings. Saras has shown, by concrete actions, that it believes in the values of ethical responsibility, which are at the heart of its operations.
